Staying in Newquay with views over the stunning Fistral beach, join us for this super early spring break.
Monday Our luxury coach will depart this morning with a lunch stop in Exeter before our arrival at the hotel. Plenty of time to settle in before dinner and dont forget your complimentary bar opens at 6pm for that pre-dinner drink!
Tuesday Today we take you to Truro, the only city in Cornwall, great for its striking cathedral, beautiful gardens, views and shopping. We return to the hotel for a hot buffet lunch. Free time this afternoon to explore Newquay or use the hotel leisure facilities.
Wednesday Today we spend the day in Plymouth, just over the Cornish border, famous for its maritime heritage and historical Barbican district and fish market. The morning to explore at leisure and an opportunity to enjoy your packed lunch from the hotel before this afternoons cruise. An hour sailing across Plymouth sound with informative commentary. We will pass Plymouth Hoe, the famous Drakes Island, heading for the river Tamar and the Royal naval dockyard where the mighty warships and nuclear submarines wait! We return to the hotel mid afternoon to a traditional Cornish cream tea!
Thursday This morning we visit Cornish gold and Tolgus mill before we continue this morning to the award-winning Healys cider farm, home to Rattler cider and Cornwalls only distillery. Enjoy the museum, farm and of course sampling those Cornish ciders! Back to the hotel for a hot buffet lunch and the rest of the day at leisure before tonights dinner and entertainment.
Friday After breakfast we leave Cornwall and begin our journey home, stopping at Street before returning to Wiltshire after a memorable Cornish break.
