Join us on this festive holiday for a relaxed but fun filled tour to enjoy all the traditional Christmas excitement including the fabulous ‘Thursford Spectacular show’ and a festive steam train with refreshments on Christmas eve.

 

Tour Itinerary

 

Friday – We leave Wiltshire this morning and head to Norfolk and our hotel just outside Norwich for the next 5 nights. A welcome glass of buck’s fizz as your cases are taken up to your rooms.

 

Saturday – Today we have the wonderful experience of the ‘Thursford Christmas Spectacular’! This amazing variety show is hugely popular every year with singers, dancers and musicians performing in a 3hr spectacular. You will enjoy the fabulous costumes worn by 130 professionals including comedy, magic, solo singers, and choral numbers in this Christmas spectacle that never disappoints year after year. Back to the hotel for this evening’s dinner and live entertainment from the Taverham Brass Band.

 

Sunday Christmas Eve – We leave the hotel after breakfast this morning and the coach will take us to Aylsham to join a narrow-gauge steam train for a 45-minute ride through the Norfolk countryside to Wroxham. You will each have a hot drink of your choice and a small box of festive treats to take on the train for this festive journey. Once in Wroxham there will be time for some last-minute Christmas shopping and lunch before returning to the hotel mid-afternoon to relax before this evening’s meal. Entertainment from Bobby Gramham during dinner. There will be an opportunity to attend midnight mass at Norwich cathedral later this evening.

 

Monday Christmas Day – Happy Christmas to you all! A day to celebrate and rejoice this special day and enjoy the festivities. A traditional Christmas lunch will be served at lunchtime with presents from Nigel & Kim before an opportunity to watch the Kings speech later this afternoon accompanied with Christmas cake. This evening there will be a finger buffet to enjoy completing your Christmas Day.

 

Tuesday Boxing Day – For those that wish to join the coach, we will be visiting nearby Norwich this morning for a chance to pick up a bargain in those ‘Boxing day sales!’ Back to the hotel for a 3-course lunch followed by a Boxing day quiz including tea, coffee and mince pies. This evening there will be a buffet spread including Yule log and an evening of fun with Nigel and Kim.

 

Wednesday – Time to say goodbye to Norfolk and head home after a memorable Christmas break.
