Tour Itinerary
Monday – Our luxury coach will depart this morning, and travel to Folkestone for our Eurotunnel Crossing to Calais, once in Calais we continue to Southern Holland and our hotel in Valkenburg in plenty of time for tonight’s evening meal. Comfort stops on route.
Tuesday – Today we visit the historical city of Maastricht, rich in history, beautiful architecture and at this time of the year, its fabulous Christmas markets! The birthplace of Andre Rieu invites you to enjoy the magical festivities throughout the city!
Wednesday – Today you have a free day to enjoy the unique Christmas Market in the municipal caves of Valkenburg – a stone’s throw from our hotel. Discover the largest and oldest underground Christmas Market in Europe with its spacious galleries and magical gifts and decorations to enchant us all.
Thursday – Each year before Christmas, the squares and streets around the Cathedral and Town Hall are transformed into a paradise of lights, festivities and seductive smells in the historical city of Aachen. We have the whole day to delight in the choice of stylish arts and crafts that has attracted visitors for years, so plenty of opportunity to purchase that unique gift and delight in the tradition of the ‘German Christmas Markets’.
Friday - We leave Holland today and head back to Calais for our Eurotunnel crossing, back to Wiltshire and your taxis after a memorable festive break.
