Tour Itinerary
Monday – Our luxury coach will depart this morning, and head to Folkestone where we will catch the Eurotunnel Train to Calais, from there we make our way to Dijon to our overnight hotel in time for our evening meal. Comfort stops on route.
Tuesday - We depart after breakfast and travel to Roses and our hotel for the next 7 nights. Time to settle in before dinner.
Thursday – Today we are joined by a guide on the classic ‘Little Red Train’. this hundred-year-old railway line links Axat and Rivesaltes in the Pyrenees to encounter a mosaic of different landscapes. With commentary throughout the day, this will be a wonderful day exploring the beautiful Spanish countryside.
Friday – A free day to enjoy the hotel pool, beach, and town.
Saturday – A cultural day today visiting the historic city of Girona, where the beautiful Roman walled old quarter is dominated by the 11th century cathedral tower and its baroque façade. A labyrinth of narrow medieval streets makes this one of the most picturesque in Catalonia.
Sunday – Your second free day in Roses and as this is market day, an opportunity to explore the vast market along the beach front outside our hotel.
Monday – This morning our coach will take us to Cadaqués, a beautiful fisherman’s town in the province of Girona. After some free time, we will join a boat that will take us on a relaxing hour-long trip back to Roses.
Tuesday - Sadly we say goodbye to Spain and make our way back to Dijon for our overnight stop. Dinner on arrival.
Wednesday - We leave Dijon and make our way back to Calais and our Eurotunnel crossing back to the UK after a wonderful holiday on the Costa Brava.
