Join us on this festive holiday for a relaxed but fun filled tour to enjoy all the traditional Christmas excitement including the fabulous ‘Thursford Spectacular show’ and a festive steam train with refreshments on Christmas eve.

 

Tour Itinerary

 

Wednesday – We leave Wiltshire this morning and head to Norfolk and our hotel just outside Norwich for the next 5 nights. Enjoy tea, coffee and mince pies on arrival while your cases are taken up to your rooms.

 

Thursday – Today we have the wonderful experience of the ‘Thursford Christmas Spectacular’! This amazing variety show is hugely popular every year with singers, dancers and musicians performing in a 3-hour spectacular. You will enjoy the fabulous costumes worn by 130 professionals including comedy, magic, solo singers, and choral numbers in this Christmas spectacle that never disappoints year after year. Back to the hotel for this evening’s dinner and live entertainment from the Taverham Brass Band.

 

Friday ‘Christmas Eve’ – We leave the hotel after breakfast this morning and the coach will take us to Aylsham to join a narrow-gauge steam train for a 45-minute ride through the Norfolk countryside to Wroxham. You will each have a hot drink of your choice and a small box of festive treats to take on the train for this festive journey. Once in Wroxham there will be time for some last-minute Christmas shopping and lunch before returning to the hotel mid-afternoon to relax before this evening’s meal. An opportunity to use the hotels spa facilities including their superb indoor swimming pool.

 

Saturday ‘Christmas Day’ – Happy Christmas to you all! A day to celebrate and rejoice this special day and enjoy the festivities. We begin our day with a Bucks fizz with breakfast follow by a traditional Christmas lunch will be served at lunchtime with presents from Nigel & Kim before an opportunity to watch the Kings speech later this afternoon accompanied with Christmas cake. This evening there will be a finger buffet to enjoy completing your Christmas Day.

 

Sunday ‘Boxing Day’ – For those that wish to join the coach we will be visiting nearby Norwich for a morning out and a chance to maybe pick up a bargain in the Boxing Day Sales (please note this is a Sunday, so shopping may be limited). Back to the hotel for Boxing Day lunch and an afternoon of fun with Nigel & Kim. This evening there will be a buffet spread including traditional yule log!

 

Monday – Time to say goodbye to Norfolk and head home after a memorable Christmas break.
