Soak up the old-world charm, beautiful coastal views and sparkling aqua blue sea of the Cote d’Azur on this fabulous 10-day trip down to the French Riviera. Our base for this tour is a lovely beach front resort with all your meals and drinks included (including extensive pack lunches on excursion days). We are including a return boat trip to the beautiful resort of St Tropez, a tourist road train in the glamours resort of Cannes, a visit to nearby Frejus and Grasse, the perfume capital of France. Boasting a stunning roof top heated pool with sea views and an extensive ‘all inclusive’ package, this tour gives you the opportunity to ‘eat, drink and relax’ while enjoying the autumn sunshine in this fabulous resort.

 

 

 

Tour Itinerary

 

Saturday – Our Luxury coach departs this morning and heads to Folkestone for our Eurotunnel crossing. We continue to Dijon for our overnight stay and a 3-course dinner on arrival. Comfort stops on route.

 

Sunday – Departing after breakfast we continue south to our lovely resort in Saint Raphael, our base for the next 7 nights.

 

Monday – Today is your first free day to relax and enjoy the all-inclusive package that we have included on this tour. With the direct access to the beach of Boulouris, just 50 metres from the hotel or the 2 heated pools the hotel has to offer, you may relax at leisure.

 

Tuesday – This morning we travel by coach the very short distance to St Maxime to board our 30-minute boat journey to the beautiful old port of St Tropez. Here you will have a few hours to enjoy and explore at leisure. This iconic port with super yachts moored alongside quaint colourful old fisherman’s houses. Look out for famous faces while you enjoy the numerous cafes with beautiful views over the harbour before we rejoin our boat for our cruise back to St Maxime where the coach will be waiting for us to take us back to the hotel mid-afternoon.

 

Wednesday – Today we take you on a relaxing journey by coach to Cannes via the scenic corniche coastal road with breathtaking views over the beautiful mediterranean sea. On arrival in Cannes, we have included a ride on the local road train with commentary so that you can see all around the town rather than having to walk. After this you’ll have free time to enjoy your packed lunches on the beach if you wish before we continue our day with a visit to Grasse. The Fragonard Perfume factory here gives us the opportunity for a guided tour to show the manufacturing and of course a chance to sample and purchase some of their wonderful perfumes. Back to the hotel to enjoy drinks and afternoon snacks before dinner.

 

Thursday – Your second free day. You may wish to take the short bus ride into the town of St Raphael to explore the marina, vibrant town centre and the old town with its stylish architecture and shops if you wish.

 

Friday – This morning we take you to the nearby port town of Frejus on the Cote d’Azur. Its Roman ruins include an amphitheatre and aqueduct. Roman artifacts are displayed in the archaeological museum. There is also a gothic, centuries old Saint Leonce cathedral with painted cloisters. Frejus also has fine sandy beaches and crystal-clear waters offering a perfect morning at the seaside! Back to the hotel for a hot buffet lunch and the afternoon at leisure.

 

Saturday – Your last free day on the resort before leaving tomorrow.

 

Sunday – Sadley time to leave the south of France and travel to Dijon for our overnight stop.

 

Monday – We continue our journey home travelling up to Calais and our Eurotunnel crossing arriving back in the UK early evening after a wonderful holiday on the Cote d’Azur.
