New Year in Scarborough & Whitby

Join us in Yorkshire for this 4-day ‘New Year Celebration tour’. You will enjoy nightly entertainment, a fish & chip lunch in a restaurant on New Years Eve, followed by a Gala Night to welcome in 2028! We have also included a cream tea on New Years day and free use of the hotel’s fabulous leisure facilities, a great way to welcome 2028!

 

Tour Itinerary

 

Thursday – Our luxury coach leaves Wiltshire this morning and heads north to our 4* hotel in Scarborough with views of South Bay. Welcome tea and coffee on arrival while your cases are taken safely to your rooms. Time to settle in before tonight’s dinner followed by entertainment. Comfort stops on route.

 

 

Friday ‘New Year’s Eve’ – This morning we are taking you to the ever-popular seaside town of Whitby with its famous abbey ruins on the cliff top and cobbled Georgian old town. Captain Cook learned to trade here in the 18^th century while in the 19^th century the town expanded with the arrival of the railway. Some free time to explore before we take you to a local restaurant for a traditional "Whitby fish & chip" lunch followed by tea & coffee. Back to the hotel mid-afternoon for a chance to relax before our Gala dinner, live music and entertainment and a glass of fizz to welcome in the New Year!

 

Saturday ‘New Year’s Day’ – Enjoy a leisurely relaxed breakfast this morning after the excitement of last nights New Year celebrations. The day is free for you to relax or maybe take a bracing walk along the sandy beach within easy walking distance of our hotel. You could also take the opportunity to enjoy the hotel’s fantastic leisure facilities including a stunning indoor swimming pool, spa bath, sauna & steam room. This afternoon we have included a cream tea for you while you enjoy the views of South Bay. Tonight’s dinner will be followed by another night of entertainment in the hotel.

 

Sunday – Time to leave Yorkshire and head south to our homes in Wiltshire where your taxi’s will be waiting to take you safely home after a memorable New Year Break. ‘Happy New Year Everyone’!
