Discover the beautiful city of Liverpool with its musical heritage and the largest collection of free galleries and museums in the UK outside London. This tour includes a step on guided tour of this fascinating city, a 2-hour Mersey cruise with an included full afternoon tea on board, the fabulous ‘Beatles Tour’ and a guided tour of the beautiful ‘Port Sunlight village! We are also including 3 drinks vouches per person each evening at our hotel as well as the usual dinner, bed & breakfast. An opportunity to explore this amazing city and the Wirral from the comfort of our luxury coach as well as free time to explore independently on this not to be missed 5-day Spring break.

Tour Itinerary

Monday – Our luxury coach will journey up to our hotel on the Welsh Borders. There will be tea, coffee, and bara brith waiting for us on arrival. Time to settle in before this evening’s dinner

Tuesday – Today you will enjoy a fully guided tour by coach of the city of Liverpool. Free time in Albert Dock for some lunch before we take you to ‘The Beatles Story’ to embark on an incredible journey through time into the lives and music of the band that changed the world!

Wednesday – A short morning visit to the nearby local town of Mold for an opportunity to explore their weekly street market with over 60 stalls to pick up a bargain or two! We continue back into Liverpool to join the ‘Floating Grace’ for a cruise up the Mersey. We are including a delicious full afternoon tea of sandwiches, cakes, scones, tea and coffee for you while you enjoy this 2-hour cruise with commentary. Back on dry land we take you back into the city to explore the many free museums, galleries and shops before returning back to our hotel late afternoon.

Thursday – A full day today in the beautiful Wirral with its miles of coastlines and seaside villages. We are visiting the most famous of these, ‘Port Sunlight’ built at the end of the 19^th century and originally the Lever factory. We’ll enjoy a step on guided tour around this mixture of architectural styles that enhance this beautiful setting. We are including admission to the fascinating museum on site, and you’ll have plenty of opportunity to visit the art gallery and gardens this afternoon before we head back to the hotel to relax before dinner.

Friday – We leave our hotel and begin our journey home to Wiltshire with comfort stops on route after a memorable break.
